Wonderful Virginia Getaway Tent on a Farm
Visit Virginia | Weekend getaway ideas
This secluded Virginia getaway tent is the ideal place to enjoy a vacation in nature. The retreat is set on a farm where there is a pond as well as a winery where guests can even enjoy free wine tastings! There are plenty of extras that guests can request for an additional charge during their stay in Virginia including wood purchase, bedding, ATV tours, a propane heater, a floating pier rental, and free-range eggs, etc.
Guests should note that this is primitive camping but the tent itself is well-outfitted and comes with a queen bed. Glampers can bring their own linen or rent from the hosts. There is also a solar pack for lights and phone charging and as the tent is close to a GSM cell tower, the cell signal is fast and strong.
The Virginia glamping rental has a camp toilet and a camp sun shower guests can hang from a tree and there's also a water point beside the barn. The hosts live 400 meters away and spend time at the sites when they are not rented as they love them too.
While glamping in Virginia, guests can fish in the farm pond or Mount Landing Creek (they will need to provide their own poles and lures) or enjoy a walk next door to the winery for a free tasting and 10% off purchases. Hutchinson Natural Wildlife Refuge is also less than three miles away where guests can enjoy days hiking in the rugged wilderness.
