This rustic tiny house is located on acres of stunning private land near Harrisonburg, Virginia, and provides the perfect base for exploring the Shenandoah Valley. Inside, there is one bedroom with a twin-over-double bunk bed and a futon in the living area, accommodating four glampers. Outside, there is an outhouse with a composting toilet, plus a wash basin, and an outdoor shower for use in warm weather. Linens and towels are provided.
After an action-packed day exploring the National Forests, glampers can kick off their shoes, pour a glass of wine, and relax in the living area. There are board games and a collection of books, which are perfect for a quiet afternoon indoors. In the kitchen, glampers can prepare delicious meals without any hassle. Appliances include a stove, an oven, a refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. Additionally, the hosts provide breakfast essentials such as pancake mix and granola.
Outside, glampers can kick-start the day with a simmering cup of coffee. There are hiking and biking trails on the property, as well as a shallow natural pool which is great for splashing around in. In the evening, glampers can pour a glass of wine and cozy up in front of the outdoor fireplace while roasting marshmallows, before retiring for the day.
This tiny house offers modern conveniences that will make any discerning glamper feel right at home during their stay. With amenities such as heating, kitchen appliances, basic cooking and breakfast essentials, towels, sheets, and duvets, glampers will enjoy the creature comforts of home. This rustic tiny house nestled on two and a half acres of provide land provides guests with the perfect base for exploring the Shenandoah Valley. On-site, glampers can explore the property and enjoy an array of activities, including splashing around in Union Springs Run that carves right through the property. In the morning, glampers can set off on one of the hiking and biking trails in the front yard, the perfect way to kick-start the day, or spend a day in the National Park one mile away.
Further afield, Shenandoah National Park boasts a vast network of trails, including a section of the Appalachian Trail. Nature enthusiasts can explore dense forests, home to thundering waterfalls and an abundance of wildlife such as deer, squirrels, and black bears. At Lake Shenandoah, avid anglers are encouraged to bring along their gear and fish for Largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. Additionally, glampers can swim, kayak, and canoe around the Lake.
