This waterfront cabin near the Blue Ridge Parkway in Virginia, is designed for comfort. Modern amenities include a private hot tub with wonderful views and a stocked Koi fishing pond. There are two bedrooms and a full-size sleeper sofa. The master bedroom features a queen-size memory foam mattress and the loft bed houses a full-size hand-hewn log bed. The cabin boasts a modern mini split heat/ac unit in the great room and the bedroom.

The kitchen is equipped with all necessities and there is a Keurig coffee maker, crock pots for easy cooking, and updated cookware. Basic spices and paper products are provided along with high-quality bedding and furnishings. There are built in safety gates for children and dogs.

The host has provided an ice maker, a microwave, a flat-screen television, a stone fireplace (gas logs), a spacious front covered deck, fishing gear, and coziness in every corner. There is also a fire pit with wood available for burning. There is a TV, Alexa, and a DVD player. A dining area for six people and also an outdoor dining space.

The cabins are bike-friendly with a large community shed with concrete floors for guests to park their bikes.

Children are welcome at the cabin.

House trained dogs are permitted at the cabins, and there is a doggie gate on the beautiful front porch for guests' convenience.

The cabin is non-smoking; however, smoking is permitted on the decks. Check in is at 3 p.m. and check out is 11 a.m.

Guests are welcome to check in early if there are no other guests leaving on the morning of the scheduled arrival. Guests should email beforehand to see if this is a possibility.

The cabins are the perfect location for a host of people such as bikers and cyclists, cross-country skiers and snowboarders, and anyone else desiring to enjoy the Blue Ridge Parkway that is on the doorstep. There are nearby creeks and rivers for the avid fisherman and the Dan River is just 20 minutes way for those wishing to do some whitewater kayaking.Travel to nearby Buffalo Mountain for a breathtaking piedmont view hike or visit the New River Trail and enjoy mountain biking on a flat, well-groomed surface, or sit on the covered front porch that overlooks the well-stocked pond and simply listen to the peace and quiet. There are also many other activities such as boating, horseback riding, bird watching and wildlife viewing. There are many walking and hiking trails together with plenty of scenic drives in the area.
