Guests can stay in this cozy suite rental near Shenandoah National Park in Virginia, where there are incredible hiking, biking, and climbing opportunities. The suite is on the entire second floor of the Manor House and consists of two bedrooms with a full modern bath conveniently between.

The Captain John Room is named after the Revolutionary War officer who had the house built in 1812, making it the second manor house to be completed on the original 2,000-acre Lord Fairfax grant. The other bedroom is known as the Bachelor Willis Room, named in honor of the last member of the Dearing family to live in the house. The suite is ideal for couples traveling together or a family with adolescent children.

Both rooms are attractively furnished with period pieces. There is a double bed in each room with the finest mattresses available; each room possesses its own closet, phone, and a refrigerator stocked with complimentary snacks and beverages.

This glamping property offers guests an array of facilities to keep them comfortable and content while on their vacation. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the site, and both accommodations offer air conditioning, working fireplaces, and individual heat, as well as a spectacular view of the Skyline Drive atop The Blue Ridge Mountains. Guests can find bikes on the site to use as they wish and a catch and release fish pond to go fishing at. Furthermore, both glamping rentals have porches so guests can relax while adoring the picturesque scenery.

There is a full candlelight breakfast included in the price of the stay which offers eggs benedict, smoked salmon, custom omelets etc. and is served at any hour of the guests choice.
