This magical log cabin in Virginia was handbuilt in the 1840s, and it is awash with American tradition and history. Later moved to Claytor Lake, it is perfect for a peaceful lakeside getaway in Virginia and glampers are sure to fall in love with this traditional and charming log cabin. The cabin can sleep up to four guests and boasts one cozy bedroom with a queen-size bed and two bathrooms. Additional sleeping can also be found on a queen-size sleeper sofa.
The snug living area features a wonderful stone fireplace where guests can snuggle around at night and tell old family tales. There is also a TV and DVD player for watching movies and a telephone should guests need to make calls. Guests will be kept comfortable throughout the year with air conditioning and heating, and there is also a clothes washer and dryer.
This log cabin boasts both a front and side porch where glampers can relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Guests can also dine al fresco on the lakeside picnic table or snuggle around the firepit at night while making tasty s'mores. Glampers will also be able to take full advantage of the lake with a boat dock, as well as a paddle boat and a canoe that guests are able to use during their stay.
