During their idyllic stay in Virginia, guests will have a scenic site just off the Potomac River nestled between striking rock formations and a lush shady green meadow. After a day on the river or exploring the charming local town, guests can relax back at their tranquil tent that comes with a plush queen bed. Glampers should note that linens are not provided by the hosts but can be rented for an additional $30.
While on vacation in Virginia, guests are welcome to go down to the communal deck by the river but they should not climb on or disturb the rocks. These limestone conglomerate structures are heavy and a unique part of Rockland. Guests will have seven miles of mountain bike trails to explore but should be mindful of wildlife. Depending on the season, glampers may see Virginia bluebells, mayapples and other wildflowers, indigo buntings, wild turkeys, hawks, and more. The hosts ask that guests do not pick the beautiful native wildflowers or harm wildlife.
Guests will have several handy additions to ensure a comfortable stay in Virginia including simple bathroom facilities, a six-foot picnic table, an outdoor fire pit, two Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep the retreat warm and toasty at night. Glamping in Virginia awaits!
