There is also a futon on which guests can sleep in the living room. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub/shower. Guests can either bring their own linens and towels or rent them for an additional fee.
In the living room, guests will find a sofa, a love seat, a stone fireplace, and a flat-screen television set beneath a tall ceiling with exposed wooden beams. Location + Surroundings
Set in the mid-Appalachian region, the national park encompasses 200,000 acres of wetlands, rock outcrops, and forests filled with white oaks and hickories. These environments provide habitats to more than 50 species of mammals and 190 species of birds, including white-tailed deer, bobcats, black bears, big brown bats, Carolina chickadees, wild turkeys, and barred owls.
The cabin is about two hours from Dulles, Virginia, where the nearest international airport is located.

With the South Fork Shenandoah River flowing right by the cabin, guests will be in the perfect setting to enjoy kayaking, canoeing, tubing, swimming, and fishing. Guests can also go fishing, swimming, canoeing, and paddle boating at Lake Arrowhead Recreation Park.
With more than 500 miles of hiking trails and 180 miles of horseback riding trails, guests will find ample opportunities to explore nearby Shenandoah National Park, where they can also go fishing on more than 60 mountain streams, rock climbing on the park's outcrops and cliffs, and biking or scenic driving on the Skyline Drive.
For dining and shopping, guests will find a variety of options in downtown Luray, near which they can also visit the underground cave system of Luray Caverns.
