This contemporary Appalachian-style cabin is constructed of hand-hewn hemlock logs and located in the stunning Highlands of the Blue Ridge Mountain Passage, near Meadows of Dan, Virginia. The cabin can accommodate up to eight guests. There is one bedroom, a loft, and one full bathroom. The bedroom has a comfortable queen-size bed, with a queen-size futon available in the main room. In the loft, there is another queen-size futon, as well as a queen-size bed to accommodate all guests. In the first bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. Linens, blankets, and towels are provided.

In the living room, guests will find a cozy atmosphere with hand-crafted black walnut furniture and a beautiful stone-hearth gas fireplace, along with books, board games, music systems, 42" cable HDTV, videos, and DVDs to entertain. The fully equipped kitchen comes with stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, coffeemaker, and all cooking utensils and pans. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, washer/dryer, air-conditioning and off-road parking.

Outside, there is a deck, with private balcony to admire the glorious views of the rolling fields and meadows, overlooking the Dan River and surrounding Mountains.

The property has on-site establishments such as the historic Cockram Mill, Crooked Road Cafe, and the Babe and Lilly House which has a selection of antiques. There is convenient off street parking, close to the cabin itself, with room for an RV, boat or trailer. Each cabin has its own private deck and balcony with stunning views of the rolling hills and meadows that make up this small developed village that is in the heart of Virginia's Blue Ridge Highlands. This stunning property is located just under two miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, tucked away in the highlands of the Blue Ridge Mountains within the villages of Blue Ridge Passage.

The cabins are conveniently located within a couple of hours drive from RTP, Greensboro, Charlotte, Winston Salem, and Roanoke and within five miles of the nearest wineries.

The Chateau Morrisette and Villa Appalachia, are just five miles away, with fantastic wine to sample, and many music shows and events to enjoy. Mabry Mill is just three miles away, and Glampers can learn about the way the mill works, discovering traditional Appalachian crafts such as blacksmithing and, basket weaving before enjoying a delicious meal at the restaurant.

Other nearby sites include Buffalo Mountain, Lovers Leap, Rocky Knob Trails, as well as the many wineries, cider, and meaderies the region has to offer.
