This luxurious cottage was recently built and boasts breathtaking mountain views near the Blue Ridge Parkway. It features two bedrooms and can sleep up to four guests in total. The master bedroom has a king-size bed with a memory foam mattress and a private bathroom with a tub. The second bedroom boasts a queen-size bed and a bathroom with an enclosed shower.
The incredible kitchen was designed by Chef Betsy LeGallais to enable her to do cooking classes in the cottage. It features a gas stove, 100-year-old wormed chestnut cabinets, and a large island. Outside, glampers can enjoy the breathtaking views from both the large covered deck and the smaller front deck.
This property boasts many luxury facilities so that guests will be able to relax in style. This includes parking, Wi-Fi, and a television with Apple TV. To ensure guests are comfortable all year round, the cottage is equipped with a heat pump, a gas heating stove, radiant floor heat, and ceiling fans.

The location of this glamping site ensures that glampers will be spoiled for choice on how they spend their days. For those interested in wine and viticulture, Chateau Morrisette, Virginia's largest winery, and Villa Appalachia are both within five miles of the property. Chateau Morrisette hosts musical festival throughout the summer, as well as free Sunday concerts on the grounds. Friday nights should definitely be spent in the town of Floyd, where there are many bars, restaurants, and clubs to enjoy.
Guests hoping to immerse themselves in the natural surroundings will love the trails on offer around the Blue Ridge Parkway and they can enjoy a stroll down the well-worn path beside Rock Castle Gorge. For a more exhilarating hike, guests can head to Buffalo Mountain and climb the 4000-foot peak where there are expansive 360-degree views on offer.
The whole family can enjoy a visit to Fairy Stone Lake and experience the only place to find the mystical Fairy Stone, or sink a hook in the Keibler Valley for mountain trout. Rafting and zip lining are also on offer nearby. Golfers can take a swing at Primland's Highland Course, rated by Golf Digest as the best new public course in 2006.
