This waterfront farmhouse rental is located in Upshur Bay on the Eastern Shore of Virginia—just an hour from Virginia Beach!—and is the perfect vacation spot for those looking for something a bit calmer and secluded than the resorts offered near major tourist destinations. Sleeping 12 guests, this 2,500-square foot accommodation has all the space guests could need. Glampers will find that this cottage features four bedrooms and four bathrooms.

The first bedroom boasts two queen-size beds along with access outside to the porch. The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed, a sofa bed, and a twin bed that sit in a cozy room. In the third bedroom, glampers will find two double beds, a full kitchen, and a private entrance. The final bedroom boasts two queen beds and a warm fireplace. To make this stay even better, each room features its own coffeemaker for guests to use to help them get ready for the day.

Three of the four full bathrooms feature a combination bathtub and shower, while the last one includes a standing shower instead. Guests with disabilities will be happy to know that one of the ensuite bathrooms contains a large, handicap bathtub. Linens and towels are included in the stay.

The living room is a warm space for family together after an exhilarating day of activities and features deep, comfortable couches along with a television for guests to stay entertained during downtimes. The fully equipped kitchen in this cottage features a coffeemaker, a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven, a stove, a refrigerator, and a toaster.

Outside, nothing will compare to the view of the bay. This view is best enjoyed sitting on the dock in the evening as the sun sets. With 750 feet of waterfront, this 12-person cottage will still feel peaceful, calm, and quiet. Guests can also enjoy a screened-in porch and array of picnic tables, benches, and couches, to relax on.

Guests can enjoy their private 900-foot dock right out their backdoor. This dock is perfect for fishing, admiring the stars at night, or using to jump off of. In addition, glampers can also enjoy a cozy fireplace and a barbecue outside. From inside the accommodation, guests can marvel at the view of the water along with horses in the pasture nearby. Being situated on a bird sanctuary, bird watchers couldn't have it any better here. Other amenities include a washer and dryer, parking, a DVD player, cable, a television, a stereo, a video library, and books that are perfect to read in the morning by the waterfront.
