This property is set on nine acres of land and was built in 1939. This spectacular estate was designed by architect Everette Fauber. The structure of the home forms a T-shape and is comprised of a massive 2700-square-feet of living space. A curved driveway, lined with walls of trees, fully surrounds the home.

The grounds of the property offers stunning beauty for visiting guests. Trees, shrubs, and plants help define the space and the endless types of flowers provide a rainbow of color. An outdoor gazebo, shaped like a chapel, was constructed in 1997 and is a focal point of the property. This masterpiece features ten gothic arches and is topped with a bronze cupid. It is equipped with lights and music and has played host to many weddings and night-time concerts. The massive 232-foot garden nearby contains the estate's original American and English box-woods, roses, daylilies, and herbs, and can provide seating for 250 guests. The sunken garden, built in the grounds, is definitely the show stopper. Four semicircle retaining rock walls form the historic terraced garden that was the original site for weddings.

The white pine columns complete the sunken garden and give it a cathedral-like look. Getting to the property is easy, especially if coming in on Highway 81. Upon exiting the highway, a short drive will lead to Route 11 where this grandest property is located. Radford University and Virginia Tech are both within a few miles from the property. Blue Ridge Parkway, known as "America's Favorite Drive" is a nearby popular attraction consisting of 469 miles connecting The Great Smoky Mountains National Park in North Carolina to the Shenandoah National Park in Virginia.
