These two unique, 16-foot yurt rentals are located along the banks of the Potomac River in scenic, peaceful Great Cacapon, West Virginia. They feature full-size beds with plush linens, accommodating up two guests. Additional guests, up to a maximum capacity of six, can be accommodated with the addition of camp-style bunk cots. These yurts are perfect for small families or for a couple looking for a dreamy, quiet getaway.
Each yurt offers a shelving unit, bedside tables with lamps, and comfortable chairs. The yurts will be stocked with fans or baseboard heaters, dependent on the weather. Both yurts feature five large, zippered windows with screens, which can be rolled up to allow the fresh air in. Guests will have to bring their own towels and toiletries.
All yurts have access to the shared grill pavilion, bathhouse, overlook deck, and grounds, which includes trails, ball fields, and the riverfront. Guests will also be able to use the communal river kitchen, which comes with a refrigerator, a freezer, an icemaker, a double oven, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. The kitchen has heating and air conditioning, seating for 20 people, a full bathroom, and a rear deck with more seating that overlooks the Potomac River.
Do not miss out on the incredible view of the Potomac River from the incredible 60' overlooking deck. The bathhouse, for all glampers, has four full individual clean bathrooms which each include a hot shower, sink and flush toilet, outdoor shower, and outdoor sink/laundry tub for washing.
The onsite River Kitchen is fully functioning with a sink, double over, stove top, microwave, coffee pot, fridge, freezer, ice maker, and dishware. The dining area has room to seat 20-24 guests. Guests do no have to worry about the temperature in the dining room when there is air conditioning and a heater. From the restaurant, guests will get a fabulous view of the river.
Also onsite is a grill pavilion with two grills. This area has its own coffee pot, toaster, microwave, and screen kitchen with running cold-only water. This area can seat up to 20 guests.
For parties or weddings, this glamping site will provide a tent that can seat up to 50 guests. While it includes tables and chairs, the entire cost of the event runs up to $175 for one to two days. More information can be given when calling the property to organize party details.
Let's not leave out the majestic quarter mile of riverfront that glampers have complete and private access to. Perfect for kayaks, canoes, and tubes, the ponds and pools along the riverfront are a great area for glampers to enter the water and encounter some river wildlife. With plenty of space for relaxation and ball fields for games, glampers will absolutely love the facilities at this glamping site. Ending the day around the community campfire is a great way to bond with the fellow glamping guests.

Guests visiting this glamping site can arrive by car, canoe, bike, or on foot. In addition, this site can coordinate with guests to canoe them (and their bikes or gear) from and to the C&O Canal (mile 152), so they can continue their tow path biking and hiking journeys.
