Dating back to the Civil War era, this converted barn rental, located in Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, is ideal for those planning a getaway to relax and unwind. With four bedrooms and four bathrooms, this rustic retreat can accommodate up to 13 guests.
The master bedroom features a plush queen-size bed and a twin bed, as well as an ensuite bathroom with a shower, a jetted bathtub, a sink, and a toilet. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a full-size bed, while the third bedroom features a set of twin bunk beds, and the fourth bedroom features two twin beds. The other three bathrooms are shared. Two of the bathrooms have a shower, a sink, and a toilet, while the third bathroom has a combination shower and bathtub, a sink, and a toilet. All linens and towels are provided.
With plenty of comfortable seating, the living room is the perfect place to curl up with a good book, take an afternoon nap, or talk late into the night with family and friends. When glampers get hungry, they can make their way to the fully-equipped kitchen, where they will find everything they need to make their favorite recipes, including a stove, an oven, a microwave, a toaster, and a refrigerator. There is also a dishwasher for easy cleanup. Glampers can enjoy their meals at the large dining table or at the breakfast bar with seating for six. This rustic glamping site has everything guests need for a fantastic stay. The rental features central heating and air conditioning to ensure guests are comfortable at all times. Glampers can pack light, as there is a washer and a dryer to keep all their belongings clean. There is also a lovely screened porch with garden furniture where guests can relax.
The barn amenities include two queen beds, one full bed, five single beds, one full air bed, one futon and two large couches; bedsheets, comforters and towels; toiletries (soap and shampoo); and paper products such as toilet paper, paper towels, etc. There is also a fully-equipped, spacious gourmet kitchen with nearly anything needed for cooking and entertaining. There is a gas grill on the deck and off driveway parking for five automobiles.
An optional hot tub and infrared sauna are available for a spa weekend at an additional cost of $150 each.

Glampers can make their way to Antietam National Battlefield, the site of the Battle of Antietam, before heading to the National Museum of Civil War Medicine to uncover the surgical and nursing practices used during the civil war. Guests can also head to Harpers Ferry National Historical Park and wander through the site where John Brown’s Raid took place, the event that ignited the Civil War. Water sports lovers can make their way to the Potomac River and Shenandoah River where they can go white water rafting, canoeing, and kayaking. Nature enthusiasts can make their way to nearby state parks, such as South Mountain State Park and Greenbrier State Park, where they can hike and bike their way through the rugged terrain before sitting down to a lovely picnic lunch.

Guests must read and sign a rental agreement that will be sent to them by the host and then email it back to them.
Early check-in at 12 p.m. or late check-out by 2 p.m. can be arranged for an additional fee of $50. Guests must inform the host of their desired time in the rental agreement and add the additional fee to their safety deposit payment.
Within a week of guests' stay, the barn will be inspected, and if there is no damage, guests will be refunded their $700 safety deposit. Guests must provide an address for the host to send a check to.
Although the great deck and hot tub are open year round, the deck patio furniture and gas grill are only available May through October.
