Description

This cozy cabin in Illinois, on the Lake of Egypt in Southern IL, has been renovated to luxury standards and is beautifully furnished to accommodate up to nine guests. The cabin boasts three bedrooms. The master has a king-sized bed and a private master bathroom with a large tub and separate shower. The other two bedrooms have queen-size beds and one has a twin trundle bed underneath. There is also a daybed with a twin trundle underneath in the bonus room. These rooms share a 2nd bathroom. All linens and towels are provided by the hosts.

Glampers will feel right at home in the cozy open plan living and dining area with the Lake of Egypt rental's fully-equipped kitchen containing all the necessities for preparing delicious meals including a microwave, a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffee station, and pantry essentials. There is a big round dining table and a Smart TV, so guests can play games, do a puzzle or just relax after a day of adventures.

Outside, the deck is furnished with patio furniture and a gas grill. There is also a fire pit with seating for when guests want to enjoy some tasty s'mores while surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature. Included in the rental are a private boat dock on the lake, a kayak, a paddle boat, and a swimming pad to float on for guests to use. There are also fishing poles in the cabin with a small tackle box. Additionally, the property has two mountain bikes available for use which are shared with the other rentals. The cabin has amazing views of the sky and access to the lake in the heart of Shawnee National Forest where guests will feel calm and immersed in the serene natural surroundings.
