This cozy cabin rental, across from Lake of Egypt, in southern Illinois, has been renovated to luxury standards and is beautifully furnished to accommodate up to six guests. The cabin boasts two lofts. One with a queen-size bed and one with two twin beds. There is also a queen-size sofa bed for the guests who prefer not to climb the ladder to the loft's twin beds. The rustic bathroom has a claw-foot tub for guests to relax in after a long day of kayaking or hiking and a washer/dryer combo so you can go home with clean clothes. All linens and towels are provided by the hosts.

Glampers will feel right at home in the cozy open plan living and dining area with the Lake of Egypt rental's fully-equipped kitchen containing all the necessities for preparing delicious meals including a microwave, a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a coffeemaker, and pantry essentials. There is also a dining table, a gas fireplace, and a Smart TV, so guests can relax after a day of adventures.

Outside, the deck is furnished with patio furniture and a gas grill. There is also a fire pit with seating for when guests want to enjoy some tasty s'mores while surrounded by the peaceful sounds of nature.

Included in the rental is a private boat dock on the lake, a stargazing deck on the point, 2 kayaks, a canoe, 2 paddleboards, and 2 paddleboats for guests to use. There are also fishing poles in the cabin with a small tackle box. Additionally, the property has 2 mountain bikes available for use. The cabin has amazing views of the sky and easy access to the lake in the heart of Shawnee National Forest where guests will feel calm and immersed in the serene natural surroundings.
