This recently upgraded cottage rental is situated near Ottawa, Illinois, just a few miles north of Starved Rock State Park. Between two bedrooms and two bathrooms in 1,800 square feet of space, the cottage can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests, making this rental perfect for groups and family get-togethers. The master bedroom includes a large whirlpool tub, a fireplace, a private balcony, and a 55-inch 4K television. The second bedroom includes two queen-size beds, a private balcony, and a 55-inch 4K television.

The living area is furnished with rustic decor and offers plenty of open space, as well as a futon, a gas fireplace, and a 4K television. All three televisions come complete with Blu-Ray DVD players, Wi-Fi connectivity, as well as high-definition premium Comcast Xfinity service. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything guests may need during their stay, including a refrigerator, a stove, a microwave, a coffeemaker, a dishwasher, and kitchenware. There is a dining area with seating for up to 10 people, as well as a second table for an additional six.

The town of Ottawa towards the east boasts a number of points of interest, including numerous registered heritage sites such as Reddick Mansion, artistic murals throughout the business district, the Ottawa Scouting Museum, and the Norsk Museum. The city is also home to Skydive Chicago, the largest skydiving operation in the country.

Ottawa is also the perfect gateway to the eclectic topography of Starved Rock State Park, which boasts a fascinating landscape consisting of dense forests, rolling hills, and magnificent rock formations. The park offers over 13 miles of hiking trails which offer scenic views of deep canyons and cascading waterfalls. Guests can enjoy fishing, horseback riding, and bird watching during summer. Come wintertime, there are endless opportunities for ice skating, cross-country skiing, tobogganing, and sledding. Many waterfalls transform into scenic ice falls, several of which can be climbed.
