Located on a spiritual retreat outside of Bloomington, Indiana, this getaway offers views of the surrounding creek valley and access to the adjacent ravine. The rustic cabin rental is custom made and handcrafted out of cordwood and timber frame and can sleep up to two guests. It comes set with all of the basics for a cozy escape in nature. Guests will need to bring their own sheets or sleeping bags, a towel, and their own food.
Inside, guests will find a twin-size bed and a wood-burning fireplace. There is also a small bathroom with a composting toilet. Guests will not have electricity; however, they will have a camp stove and a lamp. In addition, blankets and pillows are provided along with dishes and basic cooking utensils. The cabin also comes with an expansive, private porch with lovely views of the forest.
Guests will have water provided for drinking and cooking, as well as blankets and pillows. For heating, there is a wood stove with a backup propane furnace.

Just south of the Scarlet Oak Woods and other numerous woodlands, guests who stay here will find plenty of outdoor recreation. Hikers can walk the famed B-Line Trail, which is just a 20-minute drive from the property. Guests can also book themselves in for a day of pampering at one of the local spas or check out one of the many nature tours on offer in the area. Bloomington is just a short drive away and has many things for guests to do, so it's well worth a visit. There are also a few vineyards in the area that wine lovers won't want to miss. Fairfax State Recreation Area on Monroe Lake is not only close by but also makes for a lovely place to take a picnic and spend time by the water.
