Description

This restored getaway is nestled in a peaceful wooded landscape near Kansas City, Kansas, and can accommodate two guests. The charming 120-year-old barn has been restored to a provide a beautiful retreat center. There are two private bedrooms with cozy beds and blankets to slip under and fall into a deep sleep after a long day of restorative wellness programs and fun. Towels and linens are kindly provided by the host.

Guests will have access to a shared kitchen with everything they might need to feel at home during their stay, as well as a communal dining area. Guests will have Wi-Fi, a large library of books to choose from, heating and air conditioning, and parking onsite.

Outside, glampers will find themselves on 35 acres of tranquil woodland. There are friendly farm animals roaming the property and guests can relax with a cup of tea or snack as they watch the sunset after a day of healing activity.

Additional Information

Guests are asked to please only start fires in designated fire pits and not at all during drought periods or burn bans. All fires must be completely extinguished upon leaving the site.

Guests are asked to bring their own water and camping supplies. Insect spray is advised during tick and chigger season. A shovel will be provided and the host asks that any waste left in the woods be well buried, including toilet paper.
