This waterfront cottage rental is located on Beaver Island, Michigan, and can accommodate six guests for a peaceful getaway set right on the shore of Lake Michigan. The cottage has two bedrooms, one full bathroom, and one-half bathroom. Each of the bedrooms is furnished with a queen-size bed. In the full bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub/shower. Comforters, blankets, and pillows are provided; guests only need to bring their own sheets and towels.

Featuring wood floors and ceilings, exposed beams, a charming paint scheme, and a wall full of windows providing views of Lake Michigan, the open-plan great room provides guests with two living areas: one arranged around a coffee table, the other arranged around a wood-burning stove. There are also two dining tables, each of which is set up to seat four guests; one of them can also be rearranged to seat six guests. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, a microwave, a toaster, a dishwasher, a refrigerator, and a coffeemaker. Other amenities include books, games, DVDs, and a washer and dryer.

Outside, guests will find a lovely deck with lounge chairs and an umbrella dining table, the perfect place to kick back, relax, and take in the sumptuous views. From the deck, there are stairs leading down to a sandy beach on Lake Michigan, where there are dozens of opportunities for activities on the water.

Inside the cottage, guests will enjoy amenities such as a wood-burning stove, a fully-equipped kitchen, a flat-screen television with a DVD player, a washer and dryer, and a collection of books, games, and DVDs. Comforters, blankets, and pillows are provided; guests only need to bring their own sheets and towels.

Outside, guests will find a deck with lounge chairs, an umbrella dining table, a barbecue grill, and stairs leading down to a sandy beach on Lake Michigan.

For swimming, kayaking, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, and fishing, guests will be just footsteps from a sandy beach on Lake Michigan. Watercraft can be rented from local outfitters such as Happy Paddle. Guests can also go fishing on the island's inland lakes, such as Lake Geneserath.

For hiking and biking, guests will find an extensive network of trails running throughout the island, with a nearby access point located at Martin's Bluff. While exploring these trails, guests can visit a number of state-owned natural areas and nature preserves, such as Barneys Lake Nature Preserve, Little Sand Bay Nature Preserve, and George and Althea Petritz Nature Preserve. They will also find 35 hot spots for bird-watching, where guests will have the best opportunities to see some of the island's numerous species of resident and migratory birds.
