This region of Michigan is perfect for glampers who love the outdoors. This property, owned by the Keweenaw Adventure Company, is a base for Upper Peninsula Michigan adventuring! During the summer they provide services relative to Lake Superior kayaking and Michigan mountain biking on IMBA’s Copper Harbor "Silver Level" ride center, including state-of-the-art Michigan mountain bike rentals. During the winter, they provide just their lodging—a mere 14 miles from Mount Bohemia ski hill. Other winter activities in town include ice fishing, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing.

Established in 1994, Keweenaw Adventure Company (KAC) offers a variety of guided day trips, as well as multi-day Lake Superior kayak tours on Isle Royale National Park. They staff bike mechanics for repair and service needs and have a small retail shop where they supply essential bike parts and kayak accessories. Canoes, sit-on-top kayaks, and stand-up paddleboard rentals are also available, along with eco-interpretive hikes and a shuttle service. More than just a bike shop, they have also built a reputation as advocates, trail builders, community organizers, and folks who like to have a good time.

When glampers need a break from the outdoors, they can head to one of the many charming local towns for a bite to eat, have a drink at the micro-brewery, or look around in gift shops.
