This property is located on Platte Lake, Michigan, near the coast of Lake Michigan, and is perfect for groups, comfortably sleeping up to 15. This cottage getaway is quite spacious, with its main floor measuring 1500 square feet, and the finished basement adds an additional 700 square feet of living space. The rental is clean and well laid out with lovely finishing touches throughout. There are four bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed and a double bed, as well as a futon that folds down into a double bed. The second bedroom has two double beds, while the third bedroom has a king-size bed. The fourth bedroom is furnished with two king-size beds and room for an air mattress. The basement is clean and finished with four comfortable queen-size mattresses that fit in this large space.

The kitchen is fully equipped so guests may enjoy home-cooked meals. There is a large table that seats eight, and a sliding door leads outside where guests will find furnished patio. The finished basement will be the kids' favorite spot, with a ping pong table and plenty of room to play. The rental also has a private washer and dryer to keep clothes clean. Cathedral ceilings and large windows give the living room a bright and spacious feel, where families and friends will look forward to relaxing.

Outside, guests will have access to deck and a barbecue grill, making al fresco cooking and dining under the stunning Michigan foliage a possibility. Within driving distance, guests will be able to access hiking trails in various forest areas, and many of Michigan's beautiful lakes.

Guests staying at the property can enjoy all the luxuries of home. There is not much more that could be provided to guests during a stay here. The cottage has heating and air-conditioning. Wi-Fi is available, as are four TVs with satellite and cable, CD/DVD players, and music and video libraries. There are even toys for the kids.

The long driveway provides plenty of space to park vehicles as well as an RV/Boat/Trailer. Outside there is a deck with a BBQ and endless supplies for all outdoor adventure. Guests can enjoy access to bicycles, kayaks, canoes, paddle boards and tubes. Skis and snowboards are also available for those staying during the winter months. Camp chairs and beach chairs are handy for those wanting to relax and take in the unfounded beauty of the area. There is a washer and dryer and all towels and linens are provided.

This property is situated at the foot of the Sleepy Bear Dunes National Forest and along South Platte River in Honor, Michigan. It is secluded from the noise of the city and offers guests a truly magical hideaway in the natural beauty of the area. Honor is a small community in the center of Benzie County and is surrounded by other towns, resorts, lakes, golf courses, trails and more. Traverse City, Empire and Glen Arbor are neighboring towns and are all a short drive away.
