In this time of Covid-19 uncertainty, Jim, Paul, and I believe that guest (and staff) safety come first. We are doing everything we can to welcome everyone to a safe and clean resort environment. Here at Driftwood, we have always maintained a focus on sparkling clean and sanitary cottages; and now have added an extra CDC approved disinfecting-step to the cleaning process to combat the spread of Covid-19. Plus, after each cottage has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, they will be locked to ensure they will not be accessed or contaminated prior to our guests’ arrival. We have also installed hand sanitizer stations around the resort and we will be cleaning/disinfecting the shared outdoor areas throughout the day. Though the virus seems to die in just minutes in the sunshine; we have installed a towel dispenser /disinfectant station for our guests to use between scheduled staff disinfecting rounds, if they would like. Driftwood Resort is ideally laid-out to promote safe Physical Distancing. Our large lakefront and grounds, and the individual private cottages with picnic tables and outdoor grills, allow generous space to enjoy a fun, relaxing, and safe vacation. We do encourage the use of masks when guests and/or staff must be closer than 6 feet apart. We believe it is worthwhile to stay committed to safeguarding the health and safety of everyone here at the Driftwood and are committed to do all we can to make your stay a wonderful and safe one.
