This peaceful cottage is located in the North Bay area of Houghton Lake, Michigan, and can accommodate eight guests. There are three bedrooms and a bathroom. The first bedroom features a king-size bed and the second bedroom features a queen-size bed. The third bedroom has two sets of twin-size bunk beds and is perfect for kids. In the bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a shower. The host provides a comforter for each of the beds and pillows but guests must provide their own sheets and towels. The full kitchen comes with a stove, a refrigerator, a microwave, a toaster, a coffeemaker, and basic cooking utensils. This vacation rental offers incredible waterside facilities at a very affordable price. There is a huge shared grass yard leading to the lakefront fire pit and beach. Down at the water, there is a 100-foot dock, rowboats, oars, and boat moorings. Alternatively, guests can bring their own boats and use any of the seven boat launches around the lake. There is also a volleyball court, a basketball court, a playground, and games like horseshoe and corn toss are available. The cottage has its own swing, a picnic table, and a charcoal grill.
Inside the cottage, guests will have a satellite/cable TV with a DVD player. Other facilities include complimentary Wi-Fi and firewood.

Glampers who fish will love staying here, with direct access to the lake, which is full of walleye, pike, bass, and blue gill, they can take the boat out and explore the lake or soak in the sun on the beach. After a long day of adventures, the fire pit by the lake is the perfect place to unwind and watch the sunset. Near the cottage, there are plenty of great trails among the mature pines for exploring like the Lost Twin Lakes Pathway, which passes a covered bridge. There are great ATV trails nearby like the Geels to Roscommon Route and the area is also a popular hunting destination in fall.
