Gasoline or electric motors are permitted on the lake. There are numerous other fishing opportunities in the local area, where there are 52 inland lakes.

Some hunting species include the black bear, elk, white-tail deer, wild turkey, grey and red fox, coyotes, rabbits, squirrels, waterfowl, and upland game birds.
