This cabin boasts an excellent location on five wooded acres in Manistique, Michigan, and provides the perfect opportunity for glampers to get back in touch with nature. The cabin has two bedrooms and one bathroom and can accommodate eight glampers. The main bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the guest bedroom comes with two double beds and 1 twin sized bed. In the bathroom, glampers will find a sink, a toilet, and a shower. Linen and towels are provided.
In the charming living area, glampers can kick off their shoes and relax on the comfortable sofas after an action-packed day. There is a TV and a games table for some indoor entertainment, and when hunger strikes, the fully-equipped kitchen offers everything. Appliances include a stove, an oven, a refrigerator, a microwave, and a coffeemaker, toaster, pizza oven, crockpot, and there is a dining table too. Other amenities include central heating and both ceiling and oscillating fans.
Outside, the porch is spacious and perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee in the morning. There is a barbecue and a fire pit, and glampers will enjoy private access to Thunder Lake. During the day, they can take out the canoe, swim, or sunbathe, while the evenings are reserved for roasting marshmallows around the fire pit.
This cabin offers modern conveniences and wifi that will make any discerning glamper feel right at home during their stay. With amenities such as heating, hot water, linen, and towels, glampers will enjoy the creature comforts of home. For entertainment, there is a TV and a games table, while outdoors, glampers will find a spacious porch with seating, as well as an outdoor grill for al fresco cooking and a fire pit. The property boasts access to Thunder Lake, with a small boat dock and a canoe available.
We do allow pets but require a $25 per family pet fee, notification at booking, and ask that they not be allowed on any furniture or linens. The pet fee can be paid at checkout by cash or check. If pets are brought without notification and pet fee payment the charge could increase up to $100 added to your bill.

This cabin provides the perfect base for exploring this beautiful wilderness area on Thunder Lake in Manistique, Michigan, and offers easy access to a powerhouse of outdoor recreation. For the intrepid glampers, forest trails on the property lead the 800,00-acre Hiawatha National Forest, which offers incredible insight into the stunning fauna and flora of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. For the budding photographers, Kitch-iti-kipi is the state’s largest freshwater spring and a major tourist attraction. It is located in Palm Book State Park and provides perfect photo opportunities for glampers.
At Indian Lake State Park, avid anglers can fish for walleye, bass, muskellunge, perch, or brown trout at one of the many fishing spots on the scenic lake. Additionally, nature lovers can explore the forests around the lake, rife with diverse wildlife, or they can sunbathe and swim at one of the sandy beaches in the Park. For a break from the outdoors, glampers can head to the haunted Seul Choix Point Lighthouse or amble around town and sample menus at one of the restaurants.
