Nestled in Northern Michigan, this charming lakeside retreat is tucked away in Emmet County and is perfect for a couple planning a romantic getaway or single enjoying some personal time. This lovely Historic Hotel features 38 unique rooms amongst 3 stories. The rent is for one room at the Inn. Each room has a private bath, hair dryer, amenities, cable TV, a/c, and Wifi access. Included is a full breakfast service between 8 and 10 a.m. and housekeeping daily available. After spending the day boating or fishing at Round Lake, or taking a bike ride along one of the many available paths, scenic drive along Lake Michigan, winery tour, or some fun resale and boutique shopping guests are sure to get a comfortable nights sleep in this King Canopy Bed. Get lost in a good book in the lobby by the fireplace before switching on the TV to watch a movie before calling it a night. The ensuite bathroom features a new shower, a sink, and a toilet, as well as plenty of bath towels. Mini-split a/c and ceiling fan are added amenities and location on the main floor is a plus.

This historic glamping property features numerous wonderful accommodations, which have everything guests need to have an enjoyable stay. There is air conditioning in order to ensure guests are comfortable at all times. There is Wi-Fi throughout so guests can stay up-to-date on their emails, and keep in touch with loved ones back home or abroad. Guests will also find puzzles and board games in the communal areas, as well as a fireplace and comfortable seating. Furthermore, guests can enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast each morning in the dining room.

Outside, glampers will note limited on-street parking due to the Historic Neighborhood surroundings established in 1875. Staff is happy to help with baggage, ice buckets, and dinner reservations at 1911. Guests will also find a wonderful terrace for dining, a cocktail patio with bistro-style tables and chairs, and comfortable porch sporting original mission chairs and upholstered cushions. In addition, Bay View beach is three blocks away, and downtown Petoskey is 1.3 miles!

The heart of Petoskey, with its several shops and restaurants, is less than 10 minutes away. There are several nearby natural attractions at just 15 minutes away, including Petoskey State Park, Fochtman Nature Preserve, Watson Nature Preserve, and Menonaqua Nature Preserve, where glampers will find several trails to explore during their getaway. Gaylord State Forest Area is also approximately 40 minutes away. In addition, Round Lake, a fantastic fishing spot, is roughly 10 minutes away, while Crooked Lake, Lake Charlevoix, and Pickerel Lake are a bit further away.

Water sports lovers can head to nearby rivers or lakes to go boating, kayaking, canoeing, or jet skiing, while keen fishermen can cast their lines in Round Lake and try to reel in smallmouth bass, northern pike, or walleye.

Wine aficionados can take a leisurely hike before heading to local wineries to spend the afternoon touring and tasting around Bay View Wine Trail, located just around the property. During the winter months, guests can venture to the beautiful countryside, Wild Wood Trails, just five minutes away, to enjoy free cross country skiing. Glampers can also visit Petoskey Winter Sports Park, where they will be able to go sledding and ice skating, while avid skiers and snowboarders can make their way down the powdery slopes at Nubs Nob Ski Resort before heading back to the property to sip on hot cocoa.
