This cabin is nestled in the Huron National Forest, Michigan, and it overlooks the private Briggs Lake. With three bedrooms and two full bathrooms, up to eight guests can enjoy this charming rental. Glampers can look forward to all the benefits of staying in a lakefront rental and kayak or fish to their heart's content.
On the main level, there is one bedroom with a queen-size bed overlooking the lawn. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each featuring a queen-size bed. Both of the bedrooms boast lovely views, one of the lake and the other of the forest. There is a half bathroom on this level as well. In addition to the bedrooms, in the converted basement, guests will find two twin beds, as well as a stove and a fridge.
The living room has a large comfortable sofa where guests can relax in front of a movie or their favorite Netflix series. The room also features a large window looking out over the cabin's stunning surroundings. There is also a dining area in the living room with a large wooden table and chairs. Guests can also relax in the charming sunroom with views of the lake, cozying up on the sofa with a good book on a lazy afternoon, while the kids keep themselves busy with the ping pong table.
The fully-equipped kitchen has everything glampers could need to prepare delicious meals every day, and outside, there is also a propane grill. On a warm summer's evening, guests can cook up a mouthwatering steak, or perhaps grill a freshly caught fish and then enjoy a meal outside. Guests can enjoy the quiet lake setting and relax in the hammock, and as the sun sets over the lake, they can light up the fire pit and enjoy each others company as the fire crackles in the background.
The Huron National Forest rental has everything guests could need to enjoy a relaxing getaway. There are full laundry facilities, including a washing machine and a clothes dryer. All bed linens and towels are provided. The fully-equipped kitchen has a dishwasher. For entertainment, there is a ping-pong table, board games, as well as a Smart TV, a DVD player, and guests have access to Wi-Fi. With a lake right on the doorstep, guests can head out on the water in either the provided kayak or the rowing boat. Anyone in the group who is keen on fishing can also try their hand at catching some smallmouth bass, perch, and bluegill. As well as this, the rental is just 10 miles from the famous Au Sable River, where glampers can enjoy not only kayaking and boating, but river tubing and rafting too.
Huron National Forest offers glampers an abundance of great activities. There are numerous trails to explore from the rental itself. Guests can go on a stunning hike, or explore the trails by mountain bike, or even on an ATV. There is plenty for guests to do in the winter as well. For those who have snowmobiles, they can bring them along for the vacation and set off on a trail from the rental. In addition, there is the opportunity for some skiing or snowboarding at the Hanson Hills Recreation Area in Grayling, a little over 41 miles away from the rental. A well as that, the lake freezes over in the winter so guests can enjoy skating, or even ice hockey, out on the lake.
