This peaceful suite is located near the Bill Carls Nature Preserve in Traverse City, Michigan, and can accommodate two guests. With soothing blue walls and a rustic pine bed frame, this room has a queen-size bed, a marble sink, bay views, and a shared bathroom with a toilet, a sink, a clawfoot tub, and a shower. These features, along with its prime location on the shores of the Grand Traverse Bay of Lake Michigan, make it perfect for an idyllic weekend getaway. Linens are kindly provided.

Guests can gather in the charmingly decorated common areas with sofas and chairs, and get lost in one of the many books found in the library. The innkeeper also runs yoga classes which guests are invited to attend, and there is a space available for those wishing to practise alone. Other amenities include Wi-Fi and daily breakfast.

Outside, there is a garden, forest and bay views, and a lakefront beach with sun loungers and a long dock. The dock makes a great place to sunbathe or watch the kids splash in the water. There is also a spacious front porch with chairs, where guests can just kick back and take it easy.

With a philosophy built on conservation, respect for the Earth, and sustainable living, this property is surrounded by forests and the water of Bowers Harbor, which is part of Lake Michigan. There is a garden and a sandy beach with a long dock for swimming and boating.

Morning yoga classes are available for guests to enjoy. The room is also open for guests to practice on their own. Breakfast is served daily.

The lakefront location of this property provides great access to a wide variety of northern Michigan's outdoor activities and attractions. Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore is a popular choice for swimming, hiking, trout fishing, cross-country skiing, and even diving. Divers will find dock ruins and shipwrecks on the Manitou Passage Underwater Preserve. The park has high dunes for great views. Other sights and activities include the Glen Haven Maritime Museum and Lifesaving Station, scenic overlooks at Pyramid Point, and canoeing, kayaking, and tubing on the Crystal and Platte Rivers.

Mt. Holiday Ski and Recreational Area offers wintertime fun for skiing and tubing, while summer brings in zip-lines and hiking. Traverse City State Park has a beach and hiking trails, and Traverse Area Recreational Trail (TART) is the place to go for cross-country skiing and biking. Golfers will enjoy practicing their swing at LochenHeath Golf Course or the Grand Traverse Resort Golf Course.
