Description of Glamping Units
This two-bedroom cabin near Superior National Forest in Minnesota accommodates up to four guests. With its roomy interior and wide wrap-around cedar deck out front, guests will have perfect views of the White Iron Lakes without having to move a muscle. Each of the cabin's wood-paneled rooms is fully furnished, with plush armchairs, cushioned rocking chairs, an enclosed fireplace in the living room, and soft carpets covering every floor. The kitchen comes with new appliances for cooking home-style meals, and there is a wood table that seats four next to the window that looks out over water. Both bedrooms have walk-in closets as well.

The lodge cabins come with a fully furnished kitchen and functioning Wi-Fi inside, as well as an outdoor deck with a grill and a campfire ring. Guests will also have their own Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, and parking spaces outside.
The property also has a natural sand beach and boat dock, a fish cleaning station, an onsite sauna, and bunkhouse facilities for visitors to use.
Location + Surroundings
Located on the northernmost tip of Minnesota, the property sits right on the edge of the White Iron Chain of Lakes in the heart of the Superior National Forest. These lakes expand over 11,000 acres altogether, and as the property is spread along the shoreline of all four, guests will have the opportunity to explore a vast area of Minnesotan wilderness while staying in the area.
From the lodge, guests can also venture into the small town of Ely, Minnesota, where they will find plenty of restaurants and bars to choose from. The city of Duluth is about two hours away to the south, offering bigger city amenities for guests interesting in seeing more of Minnesota. Guests can rent kayaks, canoes, and motor boats directly on the property. They can also buy fishing bait and licenses, as well as book guided fishing trips or tours around the lakes. Guests merely need to step outside the front door of their cabin to experience the beauty and excitement of the White Iron Lakes. In any of the four lakes that shore up to the lodge, guests can canoe, kayak, fish, or swim from the dock or the sand of the beaches. Glampers can go on a guided tour to glimpse some wildlife and learn about the area or have a fishing expert lead them to the best spots for Walleye, Crappies, Smallmouth Bass, and Northern Pike.
In Ely, guests can visit the International Wolf Center or the North American Bear Center for up close sightings of these stunning animals. Ely also offers a mine tour, multiple cultural exhibits, and a regional history museum, and many different shops and restaurants to choose from. There is a golf course in Ely, or guests can venture about 40 minutes away to the Legend, Quarry, or Wilderness courses, all of which have been ranked as Top 100 by Golf Digest Magazine.
Superior National Forest and the surrounding areas are also highly recommended, with many trails and waterfalls for hikers and mountain climbers to take advantage of.
