This charming cabin rental has all the modern features to make it a cozy and comfortable space without losing its rustic charm. Located on a small peninsula on Lake Prairie near Grand Rapids, Minnesota, the rental is almost surrounded by the lake. The area is peaceful, secluded, and the perfect spot for families to get away from it all.

There is space for six guests, and there are two bedrooms. The loft bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. A sleeper-sofa allows for two extra guests to stay in this delightful cabin. The living space is beautifully furnished, and it is a cozy space to unwind after a long day of excursions. The living room also has large windows that overlook the lake. The fully-equipped kitchen is stocked with essentials, and there is also a dining area.

Outside, there is a short walk to the sandy beach and two shared docks. Guests can enjoy the shallow swim area here, or swim out to the swim raft. Guests can make the most of the lawn area where there are two fire pits, lawn furniture, and picnic tables. A charcoal barbecue is provided.

The hosts have supplied all bed linens, towels, and beach towels. Shampoos and soap are also provided. There is a charcoal-burning grill, but guests must supply their own charcoal. There are two fire pits, and firewood is provided. The hosts have various things guests can use for activities. There are two sit-on-top kayaks, a square-backed canoe, lawn chairs, and a bocce ball. There are two shared docks with space for two boats. Free Wi-Fi is available.

With the rental being right on the lake, guests can do any number of watersports right from the front doorstep. Aside from the equipment that the hosts have onsite, there are numerous companies nearby where guests can hire canoes, kayaks, paddleboards, and boats. Guests can go waterskiing, fishing, and swimming on the lake. There are lots of trails for guests to hike and bike along, especially with the Chippewa National Forest a short drive away. During the winter months, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are both available. For a cultural day out, guests can head to Macrostie Art Center, Myles Reif Performing Arts Center, and in Grand Rapids, there is the Judy Garland Museum. Grand Rapids also has a farmers market, and there are some great restaurants in the area.
