For the ideal weekend getaway near Minneapolis, this bed and breakfast room rental is just the spot, thanks to its waterfront location on Lake Sakatah. This beautifully decorated room is furnished with a full-size bed, with a carved wooden headboard and topped with a crocheted white coverlet and a set of plush pillows. There is an antique armoire with a mirror in the corner, framed by two crystal lamps, which reflect the soft Minnesota sun that shines through the window across the walls of the bedroom. Guests will have their own ensuite, three-quarter-size bedroom, too.

The room has easy access to the kitchenette and living room, which comes with a pool table and exercise machines—perfect for guests' entertainment rain or shine. On the covered patio, which is accessible through the living room, guests can recline in one of the cushioned patio chairs or gather around the fire pit for some warmth in the cool air of summer nights. The dock and lakeshore are also close by, as well.

The cabin has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms, and one three-quarter-size bathroom, accommodating up to six guests total. In the main room, there is a kitchenette, which is equipped with a mini refrigerator, a microwave, a pizza oven, and cooking utensils. The living area has a 52-inch, flat-screen television, as well as a pool table and workout area with a treadmill. In the outdoor living area, there is a barbecue, a hot tub, some patio chairs, and a fire pit. There is also a dock with a jet ski and kayaks available for guests' use. The yard has parking spaces as well.

Guests will be served a hot continental breakfast from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. every morning. All amenities provided will be typical of any bed and breakfast: Minneapolis can be viewed and enjoyed with a comfortable place to stay.

This pleasant, waterfront accommodation is located right on the edge of Lower Lake Sakatah, a scenic body of water right outside of the community of Morristown in southern Minnesota. The property comes with its own private dock, as well as a pontoon, jet ski, and kayaks for guests to use while out on the water. The cabin is also surrounded by sloping green lawns and a picturesque wall overlooking the water's edge. The lake sits at the heart of Sakatah Lake State Park and flows into the Cannon River to the east and Lake Tetonka to the west. In the state park, guests can bike, hike, or run on the trail winding through the area, and in the town nearby, there are a few restaurants, boutique shops, and a brewery for glampers to try when they visit this bed and breakfast. Minneapolis is also just an hour north of the property.
