This region offers some fantastic activities all year round. During the summer, guests can go swimming and fishing in the local lakes and rivers. Black Duck Lake is close to the property, and anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish, including Black Crappie, Bluegill, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Walleye, White Sucker and Yellow Perch. There are fantastic opportunities for unique photographs, and guests will learn all about these fascinating creatures. It's also possible to view local wildlife at the property. For a small fee per person, the host can arrange a bird watching session with a local expert, in an experience that lasts for two to three hours. Keen golfers will be pleased to know that there's a great course nearby, at Vermilion Fairways, where a round of 18 holes costs about $30. For rainy days, there's a good option just 30 minutes away, in Cook, at the Comet Movie Theater.
