This cabin rental is located in Otter Tail County, in Richville, Minnesota, and can accommodate up to eight guests. There are three bedrooms and one full bathroom, with all towels and linens provided. In the living room, guests will find a sofa and a dining table with place settings for four, as well as an electric space heater. The fully equipped kitchen comes with a refrigerator, an oven and stove, and a microwave. There is also a toaster and a coffeemaker.

Outside there is a fire pit, a picnic table, and Adirondack chairs. There is also a barbecue grill, as well as a fishing boat. Should guests wish to bring their own boat, there is a boat launch and beach space available.

There is ample parking for guests when they arrive. All cabins have access to a fire pit, a gas grill, picnic table Adirondack chairs, use of one of our 14 foot fishing boats (motors for rent) or a launch and dock space for a boat that guests bring.

This cabin is located in Richville, Minnesota, on the northern portion of the Dead Lake. Dead Lake is the second largest lake in Otter Tail County which has over 1,000 lakes. The lake encompasses about 7,900 acres, and at its deepest is around 65 feet. The closest major city is Fargo, North Dakota, the largest city in the state of North Dakota. The closest airport is also in Fargo, Hector International Airport, which is an hour and fifteen minutes to the northwest.

Since the cabin is located on the shores of the Dead Lake, there are plenty of water based sports and activities to choose from. Paddleboards and canoes are available for free for guests and pontoon boats can be rented for a cruise on the lake. The lake is also stocked with fish, especially Bluegill, and Largemouth Bass, so guests can bring their bait and tackle box and head out onto the lake to catch some fish. Fish cleaning facilities are available at the campground. For guests looking to stay dry, there are four golf courses and three state parks nearby. Also, every Wednesday in the summer there are turtle races in Perham City Park at 10 am.

Additional Information

There is smoking allowed on the property, but the hosts ask that guests smoke outside the cabins whenever possible. Pets are allowed for a daily or weekly fee. Only well-behaved pets will be accepted, and pets must always be leashed and never left unattended.

One free bundle of firewood is provided, while additional bundles can be purchased for a fee. Guests are not permitted to bring their own firewood.
