The cottage has two bedrooms, a loft, and one full bathroom. In each bedroom, guests will find a queen-size bed. There are also two beds that can provide additional sleeping options in the loft. In the bathroom, guests will find a combination bathtub/shower, a toilet, and a sink. Linens and towels are provided.
In the living room, guests will find two sofas and a window seat, all of which are set beneath a wood-paneled A-frame ceiling. The dining area seats four. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with an oven, a stove, and a refrigerator. Other amenities include Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.
Outside, guests will find a barbecue grill and a wraparound deck overlooking a field, a garden, and a pecan grove.

At the same time, guests will be close to a number of natural attractions. Finger Lakes State Park and the Rocky Fork Lakes Conservation Area are both under 20 minutes away to the northeast, and within a 30-minute drive to south and southwest, guests will find Big Muddy National Fish and Wildlife Refuge, the Diana Bend Conservation Area, the Overton Bottoms Conservation Area, the Missouri River, and Rock Bridge Memorial State Park. The cottage is two hours from St. Louis, where the nearest international airport is located.

With peaceful woodlands surrounding them and a number of natural areas nearby, guests will be well-positioned to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities. Guests can go hiking on the trails that wind through the surrounding woods, where they can also collect maple sugar in the winter. A little further afield, they can go hiking, horseback riding, or mountain biking at Rock Bridge Memorial State Park. Alternatively, Finger Lakes State Park offers a variety of water-based activities, such as swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, and fishing in the seven strip pits that have been flooded for this purpose. At the park, guests will also find trails for hiking, mountain biking, and ATV riding.
