Description of Glamping Units
This rustic camping cabin is located in Lake Wappapello State Park, Missouri. It can accommodate six guests. It has one bedroom, where guests will find a queen-size bed. There is also a full-size futon in the living area and a sleeping loft for guests to sleep in as well. The living area also features an indoor picnic table, a mini-fridge, a microwave, and a coffee machine. Other amenities include air conditioning, heating, and overhead fans. Linens, towels, and kitchenware are not provided.

Depending on the accommodation they rent, guests will enjoy either a private full bathroom or access to a bathhouse. The bathhouse is open most of the year, until the weather gets too cold, closing down sometime in November. There is also a restroom without running water or showers that is open year-round. At the site, guests will enjoy a fire pit, a barbecue grill, and a picnic table.

Location + Surroundings
Tucked away in the woods of Lake Wappapello State Park in Missouri, this property is situated on the Allison Peninsula, which juts out into the waters of the lake. In the park, guests have over 1,800 acres of unspoiled nature, full of trails for hikers, bikers, and horseback riders alike. The park surrounds the southwestern shores of Lake Wappapello, which offers 8,400 acres of prime swimming, boating, water sporting, and fishing water, with fish such as white bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. There is a convenience store right on the site, where guests can stock up on supplies. For more shopping and dining needs, guests can visit the nearby towns of Poplar Bluff and Wappapello, the latter of which is located right in the park.

Jet ski, boat, canoe, kayak, and paddleboat rentals are available on site. A variety of fishing and outdoor adventure supplies, snacks, and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products are available to purchase at the on-site convenience store.

On Lake Wappapello, guests can go swimming, boating, jet skiing, fishing, kayaking, canoeing, and paddle boating, with rentals available on site. Fishers will find a variety of fish species in the lake, including white bass, largemouth bass, bluegill, and crappie. On the trails of Lake Wappapello State Park, guests can go hiking, biking, and horseback riding. In the park, they will also find a pre-Civil War cemetery to visit. At the site itself, guests can have picnics, cookouts, and gatherings at their picnic table, grill, and fire pit.
