Guests can get away for a mountain retreat in this rustic cabin rental in the Black Hills National Forest, South Dakota. The cabin accommodates four guests. In the main living area, there is a cozy, queen-size bed with comfortable bedding. There are two snug twin beds in the sleeper porch, perfect for the kids. The rental also has a private bathroom.
The cabin features a kitchenette where guests can whip up some delicious meals and snacks with a stove and a fridge. All necessary utensils are provided and guests can enjoy meals at the table. There is also a gas fireplace provided keeping everyone nice and warm in the cooler months. Outside, there is also seating from which guests can enjoy the peace and quiet. This cabin is great for those looking to get back in touch with nature.
At the site, there is plenty of parking. Guests will have access to the communal fire pit with firewood, perfect for roasting some marshmallows. Linens are provided and towels can also be provided at an extra fee. Throughout the site there is Wi-Fi, however, this is limited. Gas fireplaces keep the accommodation warm in the cooler months.

For those looking to explore the stunning scenery, all around the site guests will find paths and trails for hiking and biking.The Mickelson Trail is just over the hill from the site with about 109 miles of wonderful scenery. There are ponds, beautiful creeks, and rivers for fishing. Mount Rushmore is just an hour south and well worth a visit. Guests can also head to the nearby towns for some shopping and dining. Lead is great for brushing up on some history with mining museums available.
