Located on the main campus of Norskedalen Nature and Heritage Center, the Paulson Cabin is an authentic 1850s cabin that has been updated with running water, heat, and modern plumbing. Guests can experience the Norwegian counterpart to Little House on the Prairie, as they enjoy 400 acres of wooded bluffs along the Poplar Creek, complete with nine miles of woodland hiking trails. The famed Mississippi River dominates the land just half an hour out the door, bordering the city of La Crosse. Within a 30-minute drive, glampers can admire breathtaking vistas at Grandad Bluff and enjoy a stroll through numerous scenic parks.
