Throughout the seasons, guests are able to enjoy a wide array of outdoor activities. Hiking through trails that lead to two separate waterfalls, traversing across the trails, or kayaking across the water that leads to sea caves in the summer, and hiking across the ice during winter days that have turned those very sea caves into majestic ice caves. For the sporting enthusiasts out there, there is bear hunting in September or smelt fishing in April. Due to being near Lake Superior, the largest saltwater lake in the world, this location is a prime spot for fishing, and along with Lake Superior, there are also inland lakes where bass fishing is available as well as trout fishing.

Wildlife that can be found in the area depending on the time of year include bears, gold, and bald eagles, as well as wolves, and the great blue heron. Guests can experience these amazing creatures, and the inspiring scenery of the Chequamegon National Forest by jumping on a snowmobile, an ATV, or by dog-sledding, hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing along the trails.
