This bed and breakfast site is located in Eagle, Wisconsin, where it is situated on a 20-acre property full of kettles and moraines—geological remnants of the mighty glaciers that once made their indelible mark on the region. Tall oak trees and peaceful prairie plants now pervade this unique landscape that was once covered by massive sheets of ice in prehistoric times.
Today, it is also home to Kettle Moraine State Forest, which covers 56,000 acres and offers 250 miles of hiking trails, 130 miles of horseback riding trails, 150 miles of snowmobiling trails, 100 miles of cross-country skiing trails, and 75 miles of biking trails. There is also the Ice Age Trail for guests to explore; this trail is only 3.6 miles from the site and provides guests with an opportunity to see all of the distinctive features of the area's landscape.
In addition to the geological history of the area, guests can also learn about its human history at Old World Wisconsin, which is an outdoor museum dedicated to the farm and village life of early immigrants.

With hundreds of miles of hiking, biking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and cross-country skiing trails at Kettle Moraine State Forest, guests will be excellently positioned for all of these activities. Bicycle and ski rentals are available from LaGrange General Store and horseback trail rides are available at Wild 3L Ranch and Kettle Moraine Ranch. To learn about the history of the area, guests can visit the outdoor museum of Old World Wisconsin. Guests can also go golfing at Eagle Springs Golf Resort, downhill skiing at Alpine Valley Resort, and swimming and fishing at various lakes in the region, such as Ottawa Lake.
