This private cabin rental is located in Hayward, Wisconsin near Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest and can accommodate seven guests. There are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. Two bedrooms feature a set of twin beds each while the third bedroom has one double bed and one twin bed. In each of the two bathrooms, guests will find a toilet, a sink, and a combination shower and bathtub. Linens and towels are provided.

In the living room, guests will find a futon sofa, an extra chair, a television, and a primitive-style fieldstone fireplace. In the fully equipped kitchen, there is a stove, a refrigerator, an oven, a microwave, and a coffeemaker. There's also tableware and glassware to serve dinners at the dining table for a family of seven. Other amenities include firewood for the stone fireplace and large windows for views of the lake.

Outside, there is an expansive screened porch and private pier floating on the lake, accessible only 30 feet away. The cabin comes with a rowboat with comfortable boat cushions and life preservers for passenger safety.

Situated on a shallow lake, large crafts and powerboats are not recommended. However, guests will find rowboats with cushions and lifejackets for safety; a much more peaceful way to tread the water. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool open in the summer months. There is a basketball court and an enclosed, regulation-size tennis court where guests can use the rackets and balls provided or bring their own.

At the lodge is a library, where guests can borrow a book to read in the comfort of their own cabin. Inside the lodge, guests can find pizza and ice cream served at the bar. The lodge also has a common telephone available to guests and is free of charge. Wireless internet is also available in and around the Lodge.

Guests can take a drive out of the resort and head toward downtown Hayward where there is tons of fun for family and couples. Fishermen and anglers will absolutely love the National Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame. Parents can take the kids to see the animals at Wilderness Walk Zoo, or to the Hayward Amusement Center for an 18-hole round of mini golf or a go-kart race. Staying within the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest, guests can find hiking trails and bring along their cameras and tripods for local wildlife photography. For guests seeking a full day adventure, they can take a two-hour drive into the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. In Minneapolis, there a craft brewery tours to wet whistles or spend a day at the Minneapolis Institute of Art for some culture and classic paintings.
