Description of Glamping Units
There are two rustic log cabins offered at this glamping site near La Crosse. Below you’ll find the details and amenities of each one.
Paul Bunyan: This log cabin was built in 1994 and has everything you could want in a home away from home. The Paul Bunyan cabin, which is a 1,000-square-foot, 2-story Scandinavian-scribed log cabin, sleeps up to six people. It is made of Aspen logs from the site’s farm. This log home is spacious and cozy. It has both a king and queen size bed, as well as twin bunk beds. This cabin also boasts a large double whirlpool bathtub, gas fireplace, full kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, and a covered balcony and porch. You will also find a living area with a 250-channel satellite TV and DVD player. Within the kitchen, you’ll find a sink, microwave, coffee maker, full-size stove, 20-cubic-foot refrigerator/freezer, dishes, silverware, knives, and a few pots and pans. Outside there is a covered balcony with wicker chairs that overlooks gardens, a playhouse and open lawn. You’ll love the giant A-Frame overhang where you can read or relax outdoors without having to worry about the weather.
Little House on the Prairie: The Little House on the Prairie log cabin was built in 1988 and is fully equipped for an action-packed and cozy vacation. Try this upscale camping experience, and you won’t be disappointed. Within this cabin, you’ll find a whirlpool, electricity, a gas fireplace and a comfy queen size bed. You’ll be able to settle into a pair of comfy log rocking chairs right on the front porch and watch a landscape painting come alive. The porch on the Little House on the Prairie cabin offers the best spot to watch the sunset. This 250-square-foot cabin is described by most as cozy, and there’s no denying the fact that a little soak in the American Standard whirlpool is nothing short of complete comfort. You’ll also find a gas fireplace next to the log queen bed that provides a beautiful glow to the room. In the kitchen you’ll find a refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave, dishes and silverware.
