The beautiful, A-frame cabin is perfect for four guests, with one private bedroom on the main floor and another in the lofted second floor. Both have queen-sized beds with quilts set in carved wooden bed frames. The airy living room and kitchen share a space in the main room of the cabin, which has hardwood floors, exposed log beams in the ceilings, and large glass windows against the back wall to let in light from the forest. There is a long L-shaped sofa with a table facing the flat screen television and antique fireplace, while the kitchen has a marble island furnished with bar stools where guests can sit and eat. There is a wooden staircase leading to the loft behind the kitchen, with a bookshelf full of books and an antique radio near the stairs. The cabin is covered in interesting decor and funky potted plants, giving it a boutique yet rustic feel. There is a mudroom with a washer and dryer for doing laundry, and a large dog bed in the living room for guests who bring their pets. Nestled in the woods next to the winding Blue River in Colorado, this cabin is the perfect getaway for guests looking for some privacy without being completely secluded in the mountains. Breckenridge Ski Resort is just 10 minutes up the road, with important mountains like Quandary Peak, Red Mountain, and Hoosier Ridge surrounding the cabin's property. The Arapaho National Forest and White River National Forest converge nearby as well, providing the area with beautiful lookout points and wildlife to observe and explore while staying in the cabin. The land surrounding Breckenridge is absolutely stunning, with multiple mountains rising up over the landscape in every direction. Guests can go hiking, biking, and climbing in the nearby national forests, as there are many different trails varying in difficulty and elevation for guests to choose from. Breckenridge Ski Resort is a highly popular destination for skiers and snowboarders in the winter, with opportunities to go snow mobiling or cross-country skiing as well. In the summer, the Breck Summer Fun Park is great for fishing, biking, or exploring the nature in the area. The Blue River next to the cabin is famous for its trout fishing, and guests can go rafting, kayaking, or tubing on the river as well.
Breckenridge is also a great town for shopping and eating out, as there are any number of good restaurants and boutique shops surrounding the town square. The town also has numerous art galleries and a few cultural museums and exhibits for guests who would like to delve into the history of the area.
