Description of Glamping Units
This quaint alpine cottage is located near Peak 1 and Ten Mile Range near Breckenridge Ski Resort, Colorado, and can accommodate up to eight guests. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. There are also two other bedrooms each with two twin beds, perfect for families with children. Towels and linens are provided, as well as personal care amenities such as shampoo and locally made soaps. Each bathroom comes with a toilet, a sink, and a combination bathtub/shower.
There are two fully-equipped kitchens, each of which comes with a range of appliances such as a refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a coffeemaker, a microwave, and a dishwasher. In the bright and airy living area, there are large windows with beautiful views of the surrounding woodlands and mountains. There are comfy plush sofas and a warming fireplace. A wooden dining table means groups can come together for a tasty meal, and the open-plan layout gives the lodge a warm and modern feel.
Guests will never be short of cozy spaces to relax in this cottage, with a charming downstairs TV room surrounded by windows looking onto the surrounding snow-capped mountains. Downtown Breckenridge is only a ten-minute drive away from the property, which is a great historic tourist destination offering plenty of coffee shops, local antique shops, and restaurants to enjoy. Downtown also offers a range of cultural events in the area including pottery, painting, and craft classes in a historic renovated cabin in the Arts District. Guests can take a stroll down Main Street, a seven-block historic street which is home to over 200 stores.
The town is also well-known for its fabulous ski resort, offering a total of five peaks and many miles of terrain for skiers and snowboarders of all levels. Home to the highest chairlift in North America, the location is one of the best in the country for alpine activities all-year round. Nearby resorts in the area include Copper Mountain, Keystone, and Arapahoe Basin.
In the areas surrounding the property, guests can also enjoy wandering through the forests and enjoying the views of the Rockies. With Dillon Reservoir to the north, guests can go ice fishing and snowmobiling in the winter months and enjoy sailing and regattas during the summer.
