This private cabin rental is the perfect combination of rustic meets luxury, with its alpine-themed decor blending seamlessly with its brand new appliances and designer furnishings. The master bedroom contains a king-sized bed in a log bed frame, a leather sofa, and high-end en-suite private bathroom, which has a double sink tile counter and frosted glass standing shower in the corner. The second bedroom has a vaulted log-wood ceiling, two double beds, and a set of twin-sized bunk beds, with space for up to six individuals in its roomy quarters. There is another king bed in the loft upstairs, with an additional armchair and a flat screen television situated on the chest of drawers.

A spiral staircase leads down to the main room, where guests will find the modern kitchen with a leather-rimmed tile island and barstools and the tall dining table for six near the mountain-view windows. The living area contains cozy leather couches and reclinable armchairs facing the entertainment center and wood stove in the corner. The deck is accessible through the sliding doors, where guests can unwind while absorbing the stunning Durango nature that surrounds the property for miles.

This accommodation has two bedrooms plus a loft and four bathrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking large meals, including a dishwasher, toaster, and cooking utensils. The forest also offers a vast network of hiking and climbing trails for more experienced hikers or pleasant paths around bodies of water like Electra and Haviland Lakes. About 50 miles away, guests can also visit historic Puebloan cliff dwellings in Mesa Verde National Park.
