Nearby Peak to Peak is Colorado’s oldest Byway.
Peak fishing in and around Rocky Mountain National Park is mid-June through mid-October when the trout are plentiful and bite frequently. With the Big Thompson River running through the backyard, guests' fishing adventure can start just a few steps out the door of their Colorado cabin. There are also ranger-led programs in the area for guests to enjoy.
