Location + Surroundings
Grand Lake is a town in northeastern Colorado which is home to the biggest natural body of water in the entire state, named none other than Grand Lake. Connecting to the Colorado River, water sports are a popular activity in this area, particularly sailing races. Glampers can bring their own private boat to use at the public boat ramps and docks or rent a boat once in Grand Lake, whether to go for a leisurely drive around the water or to set out on an all-day fishing excursion. Grand Lake also finds itself close to Rocky Mountains National Park, whose mountains, lakes, and wildlife are also a sight to be seen.
The town is roughly two hours from two major cities in Colorado: Denver and Boulder. Denver is the largest city in the state, and glampers can visit the Denver Botanic Garden, Coors Field, the Colorado State Capitol building, a variety of museums, and more. In Boulder, guests will find Flagstaff Mountain and the Flatirons, Avery Brewery Company, music festivals, art shows, and other exciting attractions. Read More
