This luxury woodland cabin with Rocky Mountain views is located in Hartsel, Colorado, and can accommodate 14 guests. There are four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The first bedroom has a king-size bed, bedroom two is equipped with a queen-size bed, the third bedroom has a king-size bed, and the fourth is equipped with a queen bed. In the first bathroom, guests will find a toilet, a sink, wet bar, jetted tubs, and dual-spray spa showers. Linens and towels are provided.

The cabin is decorated to suit the frontier style of the surroundings, the entrance greets guests with floor-to-ceiling stone fireplaces, music and video library. The fully equipped modern kitchen comes with a breakfast/lounge bar, microwave, general utensils, and dishwasher. After a full day of climbing and skiing on the mountains, the property has a jetted tub for guests to relax in. For everyone of all ages, there are over 20 film titles available on DVD great for a family movie night in.

Located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, this a great destination for adrenaline junkies due to the nature of the surroundings. There are plenty of areas to take up popular mountain activities such as skiing and snowmobiling. Guests can take a trip to the nearby Arkansas River, which is now the rafting capital of Colorado and the United States. Lake Antero voted best fishing destination in Colorado 2007, is every fishers dream. Big fish and ‘gold medal’ catches are the normality for fishing fans.

Sightseeing is fantastic for nature enthusiasts with the extensive natural beauty of Black Canyon and the national parks. One-of-a-kind full or half day excursions allow the chance to explore various nature trails which display the changing of the leaves. Nearby 'Fourteeners' and Collegiate Peaks offer majestic sightseeing and are great for ambitious hiking. For glampers who would rather take a trip and delve into the rich history of the area, various tours are available. Cripple Creek is a great opportunity to learn about the mining and gaming industry that ruled the nearby town of Buena Vista.

The area has plenty of scenic loop tours which are perfect for driving around, drive to Buena Vista to Independence Pass to the world- famous town of Aspen.

Wildlife sightseeing is accessible with every direction in amongst the mountain peaks. The mountains are part of the divide of ‘Fourtneers’ the middle section of the Rocky Mountains. This particular section of mountains is ideal for a wide range of snow activities of all levels, snow mobile, cross -country and skiing. Besides delving into the snow based activities there is horseback riding, lessons are given to glampers who are beginners.

The hosts do recommend that for the snow based activities that guests take time to look into local winter and summer outfits to be prepared for the climate. Sunscreen, water bottles, gloves, boots and good socks are highly recommended as necessities by the hosts.
