This cozy rural cabin is located in Marble, Colorado and can accommodate four guests. There are two bedrooms, one-half bathroom and one toilet room with a sink. The first bedroom in the loft has a king-size bed and plenty of light coming in from the window, as well as a flat-screen TV, a stereo, and a CD and DVD player. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed and a sliding door leading outdoors and again letting in plenty of light. In the first bathroom, guests will find a sink, and a combination of a shower and a bathtub. Linens and towels are provided.
In the living room, guests will find two large inviting sofas and a rustic coffee table surrounding a wood pellet stove where glampers can warm themselves and unwind. The living room is filled with light from the large windows that look out onto the deck and guests can fully appreciate the breathtaking views from the comfort of the sofas. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a stove, a refrigerator and freezer, an oven, a coffeemaker, a toaster, and some pantry items. There is also a dining area with seating for four people.
Outside, there is an outdoor grill on the deck along with outdoor patio furniture and there is a charming balcony. This cabin is the perfect place to experience the beauty of the Rocky Mountains and an ideal base to visit nearby Aspen.
The accommodation comes with entertainment features such as a TV, a stereo, a CD and DVD player, as well as a music library and books. The property also has its own pool and ping pong table so that even indoors glampers will have plenty to keep themselves entertained. The accommodation is quite rural and remote and runs off the grid on a solar and generator chargeable battery bank. The heating comes from the wood-burning stove upstairs and a wood pellet stove downstairs so glampers staying in the winter need to be able to start and maintain a fire to keep the cabin warm and cozy.
The property's water comes from the well and is fresh and delicious. The generator, the stove, the oven, the water heater, and the fridge freezer are all fuelled by propane. Glampers can make use of the outdoor grill on the deck and there are two canoes with which guests can explore nearby Beaver Lake, only three miles from the cabin. Guests can provide their own meals or as an alternative catering from a private chef is also available at an additional cost. There is parking available at this accommodation.

The accommodations proximity to Aspen is what really sets it apart, at a little over an hour’s drive away glampers can be immersed in the beauty of this glamorous haven. Aspen is a ski resort town and a year-round destination for outdoor fun while also boasting luxury boutiques and restaurants. Bonnie's Restaurant on Aspen Mountain is owned by one of the hosts, so glide in after days skiing to experience some on-mountain dining.
Also within an hour's drive away, glampers can visit the resort city of Glenwood Springs, famous for its hot springs, and Glenwood Canyon, which is rich with wildlife and home to the remarkable turquoise waters of its Hanging Lake. Adventurous guests can also explore Glenwood Caverns, the ancient underground caves and then drop in on Glenwood's Adventure Park for its exhilarating roller coasters and canyon swings that overlook the Colorado River.
Adventure seekers will love this location as it offers activities such as backcountry skiing, fishing, biking, horseback riding, kayaking, and canoeing, as well as hiking through the mountains and experiencing those breath-taking panoramic views.
The host owns a fly fishing guide service if glampers wish to experience this beautiful sport and the nearby Beaver Lake offers some great fishing. The host also has a permit for the White River National Forest which allows him to take clients to experience overnight camping trips in the high lakes. The host recommends visiting Geneva Lake, accessible in one hour in a four-wheel drive vehicle and then by a further one hour hike where guests can then experience the unique beauty of its calming waters and surrounding flowers and wildlife. For those who prefer to relax by spending time in the mountains, there are many hiking trails leading to remarkable views.
In the town of Marble, there is an excellent restaurant open in the summer called the Slow Groovin' Cafe and there is also the Marble Historical Society Museum and the Marble Gallery. Art enthusiasts could also visit the historic town of Redstone to see the art galleries and afterward have a bite to eat in the restaurants there. Carbondale also provides shopping and fine dining and is only a 30-mile drive away. There is also a Whole Foods supermarket in El Jebel, located 10 minutes from Carbondale.
