Description of Glamping Units
The cabin can easily accommodate four people. There are two fold-out couches; one is queen-size, and the other a double. The cabin is very open and is a perfect place to spend time with your loved ones comfortably. This cabin boasts a dining area and a kitchen with a refrigerator, a microwave, a popcorn popper, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, a coffeepot, a toaster, electric hot plates, electric skillets, a Crock-Pot, and other miscellaneous kitchen equipment. Please keep in mind there is no oven.
This cabin rental also has an outdoor gas grill and a fire pit that's perfect for a fun barbecue and s'mores night. A unique part about this cabin is that it has its very own ping pong table!
This cabin is pet-friendly. There is a $10 fee per pet, per night.
There is a central bathhouse on this property that is shared between this cabin and two others. It has a shower, a toilet, and a sink. There is also an outhouse located at the opposite end of the property for those not wanting to wait for the toilet at the bathhouse.
Finally, glampers also have the option of renting a tipi with this cabin. The tipi costs $50 per day or night, to sleep in it or use it. The tipi has two futons, new wood flooring, and electricity. The host plans to add an electric or gas style stove for heat and, in time, create a cozy ambiance. Guests are advised to be careful when using candles. See photos of the tipi's transformation above. There is a dumpster available on the property.
Guests will also have access to a gas grill and a fire pit. There is no wood stove.
For larger groups or families, the property also includes other cabins which can be rented together to accommodate more guests. If interested, guests should inquire with the host upon booking, who will provide further instructions.
Due to the winter season, running water has been shut off in three out of the four cabins. The host tries to keep the water running in the bathhouse. This happens near the end of October until the end of April. Guests should inquire with the host about water supply during the off-season.

The host kindly asks that guests leave the cabin as they found it, or better. This is the guests' home during their stay, and they should treat it that way. This means cleaning and putting away dishes, cleaning the counters, and cleaning all floors and rugs (shaken out and put back as found, and if the floors are wooden, swept.) Guests should also haul off trash, and if there is a dumpster available, leave it there. The dumpster is on the property from May to October. Guests should not leave any trash in the building or outside exposed to the elements (like bears, birds, and wind). If guests do not comply with these rules, there wlil be a $50 deduction from the deposit. If guests haven't paid the deposit, they will be billed for the damage.
The prices listed for this cabin are based on double occupancy. For each person after two, there is a $10 fee per night. Each pet is also an additional $10 per night. If not informed of extra guests or pets the fee will increase to $20 per night. The property has a "scoop the poop" policy when it comes to pets, and the hosts kindly request guests do not leave pets or children unattended at all times. If left unattended in the cabin or out, there will be an additional charge of $50 and guests are in danger of losing their deposit. Guests should discuss any pet options with the host Jeff or the property manager prior to arrival.
Note: If glampers bring extra guests (people or pets) and did not include when booking it is best they inform the host immediately and /or use the drop box on the property located at Jeff's house. If guests do not inform the host/use the drop box , they will be charged double when leaving. This will come out of the guest's damage deposit. That will be $20 per night for each and not $10. Honesty is the best policy, or guests will lose their deposit. This has happened too many times to the host, and this measure will keep it from happening in the future. It took many years to fix these places up, and the host expects to be paid and treated fairly.
The $250 damage deposit is 100% refundable if the cabin is left as found. The host stresses that guests need to leave their accommodations as they were found, or better.
The host also urges that guests bring the following with them: Linens for beds (blankets provided), towels, dish cloths, toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, drinking water (if guests don't like well water), and firewood if possible. Firewood is available, but guests must be conservative in their use.
Before checking out, the hosts asks that guests do the following:
Make sure the wood box is full and ready for the next guest. Make sure the wood is the type that is dry, and small to medium-sized so those who arrive next can easily start the fire.
Make sure dishes are clean and put away, and that the counters are left clean.
Make sure that floors are clean, and that rugs have been shaken out and put back as found. If the floor is wooden, guests should sweep. There are brooms and dust pans for guests to use. If the floor is carpet, then use the vacuum.
Guests must take garbage with them. If the on-site Dumpster is available, guests may use that. The Dumpster is on the property from May until October.
Finally, guests simply must clean any areas they used, including bathrooms and outside areas.
If guests do not do any of the above, there will be a $50 deduction from the guests' deposit.
Please be respectful of all guests and leave everything clean. Please remind children to do the same.
