This enchanting cabin sits immersed in the trees beside Chalk Creek, Colorado, and provides the perfect secluded getaway. The cabin comes with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 16 guests, making it ideal for large reunions with friends or family. There are three bedrooms each furnished with a king-size bed and one bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed. Two of the bedrooms with a king-size bed also feature a full, en-suite bathroom and direct access to the balcony. The third bedroom that has a king bed includes a washing machine and a dryer, as well as direct access to the lower patio. The third bathroom sits on the lower level and comes with a shower and a toilet. Guests will also find three sleeper sofas and two twin air mattresses to accommodate additional guests. There is a portable crib available for those bringing small children. The cabin provides modern amenities such as a hairdryer, an iron, and an ironing board. It also supplies bed linens and towels.

The modern kitchen comes equipped with a refrigerator, an oven, a stove, a dishwasher, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee maker, dishes, utensils, and pantry items. There is seating for up to eight guests around the large, circular dining table, as well as on the smaller table located in the basement. Guests will find three spacious seating areas featuring large, plush sofas and two fireplaces for extra coziness.

Downstairs in the basement, guests are treated to a games room, which sports a pool table and a foosball table to provide for hours of fun for the family. It is also equipped with a television, a DVD player, and a stereo. Outside, guests can relax on one of the several decks furnished with tables and chairs. A delicious barbecue can be hosted on the deck during the sunnier months.

The cabin offers many decks located on three sides and a patio, which boast exceptional views of the Chalk Creek and the stunning peaks of Colorado. Inside, the cabin features a games room with a pool table and a foosball table to provide hours of fun for the whole group. It also comes equipped with heating and a fireplace to ensure a comfortable stay, as well as satellite TV, satellite Wi-Fi, and a landline so guests never feel out of touch.

The whole accommodation is rented as one unit, so the only shared space is with those guests have invited to bring with them to this glamping site.

The maximum occupancy for this property is 16 guests and there is also a minimum age of 21 for renters. During high season, rates are based on eight guests and there is an additional $10 charge per night for every additional guest over this number. Off season, because large groups are not traveling together, we have lowered the rate, based on four guests, with an additional $10 per person/night.

There is an additional cleaning fee as well as security deposit.

Children are welcome, however, pets are not allowed. Guests should note that this is a no smoking/no drugs property.

The property is suitable for hosting events such as weddings and reunions. A larger cleaning fee and security deposit could be required.

This property is inaccessible by wheelchair because of the multiple levels.

While every day could be filled simply with admiring the incredible mountain views, wildlife watching, and geocaching, there are countless activities just a short drive from this centrally located cabin. The surrounding mountain ranges invite guests to hike, bike, or even a horseback-ride the infinite, winding trails to reach breathtaking views. For those seeking adventure, there are a plethora of river rafting, tubing, kayaking, and zip-lining companies along the Arkansas River. Guests can also take a day-trip to Monarch Mountain for some of the best skiing in Colorado, or perhaps spend a relaxed afternoon visiting local breweries or Deerhammer Distilling Company, the local, craft whiskey distillery.

Approximately 15 miles to the north is the Collegiate Peaks Golf Course, inviting glampers to enjoy the 360-degree views while playing a round of golf with family or friends. Guests should make sure to spend a little time the Ghost Town of St. Elmo and feed the chipmunks at Chipmunk Crossing. The General Store in St. Elmo welcome tourists and can answer just about any question regarding the area. They also rent ATV's for back-country exploring.

The Ponderosa at Chalk Creek is upstream only a couple of miles from world-renowned hot springs which offers a spa, swimming or soaking, a restaurant, and bar, as well as their historic bath house.
